Multiple Peabody and Emmy-winning journalist Tom Brokaw served as anchor and managing editor of NBC Nightly News from 1982 to 2004. Brokaw was the first western journalist to cover the fall of the Berlin Wall, the first to conduct a one-on-one interview with Mikhail Gorbachev, and he once caught four permit in one day of fly-fishing. When he is not wading the flats in The Bahamas, Tom prefers to spend time casting to trout in Montana.
