Plenty of fishing boats will be on display.

The largest boat show in Canada comes to Toronto January 14-22, 2012, and for anglers, that's nine fun-filled, info-packed days of fishing-related seminars, activities, contests, vendors, and more.

Celebrating 54 years as the best place to see and buy boats, anglers who attend the Toronto International Boat Show can check out the latest and great boat models made especially for fishing. The Discover Boat Centre has experts on hand to to help you figure out the best boat to fish your fishing lifestyle and budget, providing advice on just about anything you could need. Plus, there's lots of free information, including magazines and DVDs to take home with you.

New this year to the show, you can pre-shop for the perfect fishing boat online! Canadian Boat Shows Inc. has partnered with Boatdealers.ca to offer the Official Boat Listing Service of the 2012 Toronto Boat Show. A complete and comprehensive boat-listing showroom, consumers can pre-plan and find information on specific boat models that will be on display at this year’s show.

The popular Great Canadian Fish Tank returns to the Toronto Boat Show, a must-see for not only anglers of any age and experience. This 40-foot long aquarium - filled with 5,000 gallons of water - is stocked with native Ontario marine life, something the kids will get a kick out of as they watch all the different fish swim by and interact with each other.

But best of all, the Great Canadian Fish Tank serves as the home base for free fishing seminars, allowing curious anglers not only to learn new fishing tips and techniques, but also a unique perspective on how fish actually react to certain presentations.

Daily seminars demonstrate how various fish react to various types of bait, step-by-step casting methods, and the latest tips on how to catch "the big one"!
