My ultimate type of fishing fresh water bass and pike fishing. I LOVE crank baits they are just so much fun and you can't go wrong using them. I just started using soft plastics and have been quite successful so this year I'll be doing allot of flipping and pitching. I find fishing rivers and small lakes to be more fun then the larger lakes.

Well, finaly got a job in Kingston but nows it Winter and I don't fish in the winter as much as I do in the Summer. I'm even more excited for Spring since I just bought a Abu Garcia Vendetta 6'6" MH paired up with a Shimano Caenan Baitcaster. My favourite lure has to be this Cotton Cordell Big O Bass Fishing Lure. The picture shows the pearl one, but I use the silver version. It cost me $7.99 at Canadian Tire and it was thanks to this lure that I caught my first decent sized pike. Every time this lure hits the water I didn't have to wait long to get a got solid bite. My name is Darren Shalla and I'm 27 years old. I just got back into fishing (broke my old rod and could afford a new one till this year) and have been hitting the shores at least 3 times a week. I just moved to Kingston, Ontario and I hope I can provide the community with a newbies perspective on fishing this city. I'm very excited to fish lake Ontario.
