Lake Fork Day Three and Four Popes Landing is not fancy but clean and has a great ramp mid lake west arm of Lake Fork . Day three we went into Little Wolf creek an area similar to the one we fished day 2 and we started out with the same baits. They worked. Lake Fork Day One and Two We arrived around 7 AM Monday after the Mega Bass Tournament. We checked into the motel Popes Landing. Then grabbed quick bite to eat then hit the water. Lake Fork is 2 hour drive OH Ivie is 2 hours and so on, there are tons of small lakes most towns around here built one. I am never far from water. I believe in Faith Family Friends and Fishing. I am an outdoor enthusiast I have done the tournaments scene, hunted for trophies, fished only for fish over 8 lbs. personal best is 12.82 got a replica made, she swam away. 5 lb. small mouth and a 21 inch spotted bass. Over twenty years did the pro staff for lots of fishing companies, but I am retired to just fishing and enjoying the outdoors. I write blogs for WFN and others.
