I know it has been a while I've been busy with work and family and haven't had time to sit down and write a blog but I want to know what is going on for Labour Day!
For most Labour Day marks the unofficial end of summer. The kids will soon be lugging around school bags instead of tackle boxes and dissecting frogs instead of flipping them across lily pads.
This is my second September classroom free and it still hasn't sunk in. Every August I catch myself in the "getting-ready-to-go-back-to-school" mentality. I go through my clothes, clear off my desk, sort files on my computer getting rid of anything I don't need. I have an addiction to note books and pens so I hit the back to school sales.
There is one more thing ... O yea: plan one last kick ass summer fishing trip and BBQ! Ha ha ha
There are tons of free fishing events events nationally and in the states. Anyone plan on going to one of those?

Hey everyone I know I don't blog often I joined mainly to talk to you all but I have a question that came up while planning my next vacation A few of us wanted to try fishing for Marlin and I remember seeing Mariko getting tossed into the water after catching her first blue marlin anyone know why? where did this tradition start?
