Being an avid Trout fisherman here in Ontario Canada, I use small ultra light spinning poles to explore all the small trout streams this area has to offer. Many of the streams are tight and narrow with small pools overgrown with vegetation and can be quite challenging to fish.  Over the years I’ve learned that the ultra light poles could offer me the finesse that was need to make the perfect presentation and the sensitivity to feel the smallest hit.  This year decided to update and buy a new pole. After doing all my research I bought a St. Croix ultra light 5’6” fast action. St. Croix is a new company for me as I have never used any of there products, which is one of the reasons I bought it. I will update my adventures fishing for trout with pictures and a complete fish log. I will also give a review on St. Croix performance. Looking forward to 2012 now let’s get out there and fish!
