The Redfish Guys review the Bubba Blade

Posted On February 01, 2012

Lee Padrick and I fish Trout and Redfish Tournaments in Eastern North Carolina. We recently ordered a couple of Sportsman’s Packs from Bubba Blade. The sportsman’s Pack includes a 9” Stiffie blade fillet knife; a 9” flex blade knife, a t-shirt, and a hat. The demands of saltwater fishing dictate a sharp corrosion resistant fillet knife with lots of backbone and a non-slip handle. Man does the Bubba Blade deliver! The 2mm thick Teflon coated stainless steel blade ensures corrosion resistance and the strength “backbone” that I demand. The no slip synthetic trigger grip handle fits securely in my hands. The handle reminds me of a high dollar pistol grip giving me confidence that the blade will not slip or turn in my hands at a critical moment. Weather I’m filleting a trout for supper or skinning a deer for the freezer the sharpness of the Bubba Blade makes the job easy. I hunt for whitetails, turkeys, coyotes, bears, hogs and ducks here in North Carolina so a good knife is a necessity and the high quality sheath makes transporting safe. I can attest that the Bubba Blade can handle the tortures of the North Carolina’s woods and waters. Thank you for making an affordable tough knife for the serious NC outdoorsman,
