Posted On February 05, 2012
Today, Lee Padrick and I attended the Raleigh Boat show at the Convention Center and learned of a new tournament series in North Carolina with events stretching from Carolina Beach to Beaufort.

Tournament brochure reads: "5 Events / 3 Heaviest Fish / 2 Champions
Each of the five tournaments in the series offers lots of great payouts and prizes, captains' parties and award dinners, bonus payouts for live weigh-ins, and a weekend of camaraderie.
Enter any one of our five tournaments and you're automatically entered into the tournament trail. One flounder weigh-in and/or one red drum weigh-in per event. Total up your three heaviest flatfish or three heaviest redfish. Heaviest three fish total in each division is crowned Champion."

Tournament #1: Wrightsville Beach - June 2
Tournament #2: Topsail Island - June 30
Tournament #3: Beaufort - July 21
Tournament #4 Southport - August 18
Tournament #5 Carolina Beach - September 15

Each of the five tournaments offers a leaderboard with ten payouts for both divisions. The entry fee are low and TWTs are available for entry.
