now that the ice is in  on more of the bay of quinte area waters and now safe to be on might as well make the best of it  right now perch are hitting well . they seem to be hitting on a red champ in a bout 12-18 feet of water i find the best time to go after the jumbo perch  any time between 10am and around 5 pm so far have had the best luck on the red champ as i mentions above
