Spent some time getting my gear cleaned up... again... all the reels are cleaned oiled and greased and ready to go just need spring to get here so the bronze backs can tear my gear up for another great season. Helped my kids get there stuff together too. they thought it was cool taking their reels apart and cleaning them. They both got new rods and reels for christmas ,not sure who was more excited that morning them or me.  :  )  Can't wait to see them on the water with all there new stuff , they'll be looking for a "BIGGIN'"  too.

Got my WFN on!

Just got home and what was there waiting for me? My WFN ambassadors kit. Now I may be a little immature for my age but I was like a little kid when opened the box. Now I can show my WFN colors every where I go and with my up coming tournaments I couldn't be happier to have my stuff.

So this winter I decided

Finally made a few casts

I got a chance to get out and make a few casts had to work the kinks out of some new gear after a few backlashes that a passing seagull tried to nest in i was able to dial in all the new stuff really well, unfortunately the bass weren't impressed with my fine tuning skills and only one northern pike made an attempt but it felt real good to go wet a line. The season is just kicking off so as usual

total bass-a-holic!!! i started fishing almost before i could walk and i have done the same for my kids. both my son and daughter are crazy about fishing and i am a proud father seeing my children share my love for the sport of bass fishing. this past season i started tournament fishing a team trail with my cousin. we did fairly well all season with several top 10 finishes and disappointingly finishing 1 spot out of quilifying for the classic on kentucky lake. thats what next season is for!!!
