Greetings fellow fishermen and fisherwomen,
Another new member to the WFN site.  And all the way from a small island in the south pacific.  My main fishing activity is from the beach, though I have been known to wander out on a boat from time to time.  My fishing gear is limited, I have one custom built one piece pole (I also forget its called a fishing pole in some parts of the world, here is known as a fishing rod) about 15 feet long (I always forget how long it is) and a two piece pole about 12 feet.  The two piece has a no name reel, which does whats needed but its clearly a budget reel.  The one piece has a surecatch reel, with a few hundred yards of 16lb line.  Yes I fish with light gear, I do not winch fish in with heavy line as I like to give the fish a chance to get away.
