Upcomming Orillia Perch Festival

This post is about the upcoming yearly Orillia Perch Festival.  Whether  you're  a seasoned veteran or jsut getting started with fishing this festival is for  you.  With daily, weekly and grand prizes there's something for everyone.  There's even a kids day with games and prizes for each kid.  The festival starts April 20th each year and costs just $20 for an adult and just $5 for kids under 16.  The festival is a live release event that goes from April 20th to May 12th and has tons of prizes.  The grand prize is Lund Rebel fishing boat, there are also prizes of $1000 and a kids grand prize of $1000 shopping spree.  If you're not worried about the prizes, come out for the fun.  You're guarenteed to catch something and have a great time and meet some pretty nice people.  It also helps that people in Orillia are some of the friendliest people you will ever meet.  Come on out meet  some people, catch some fish and maybe win some prizes, you won't be disappointed.

Intex Seahawk 4 review

This is my review of the Intex Seahawk 4 inflatable boat.  I purchased one of  these last summer and it is one of the best purchases I have made.  It will hold up  to 4 adults  and carry up to 880 pounds.  It is made of thick rubber that is almost hook proof.  I hooked it a couple times and had no worries, not even close to puncturing it.  you can purchase

Getting ready for the new season

hey folks this is my first post in what I hope to be a weekly blog.  As  the snow begins to melt, I start to  think of the upcoming fishing seasons.  I am not one to go ice fishing, so I have a long dull winter to deal with, but   as soon as January 1st comes around I start to check through all my tackle, restring my rods, and plan my first few trips out.  This
