Intex Seahawk 4 review

Posted On February 08, 2012
This is my review of the Intex Seahawk 4 inflatable boat.  I purchased one of  these last summer and it is one of the best purchases I have made.  It will hold up  to 4 adults  and carry up to 880 pounds.  It is made of thick rubber that is almost hook proof.  I hooked it a couple times and had no worries, not even close to puncturing it.  you can purchase a motor mount seperately which will allow  you to use a 3hp motor.  I recommend getting the mount and motor as rowing across a lake  is a lot of hard work and rough on the shoulders.  There is plenty of room in the boat for all your gear and it comes equipped with 2 rod holders, one at the front and one at the back.  the weight of the boat is approximately 50 pounds deflated, but that shouldn't be  a problem getting from the car to the beach.  With a price  tag of around $100 you can't go wrong, it's great for solo fishing or  taking the kids out for a day on the water.  If  you don't have room for an aluminum or   fiberglass boat I highly recommend this one.  When not in use it goes back in the box and under the stairs.  I love this thing and highly recommend  it for those on a tight budget with limited space.

Getting ready for the new season

hey folks this is my first post in what I hope to be a weekly blog.  As  the snow begins to melt, I start to  think of the upcoming fishing seasons.  I am not one to go ice fishing, so I have a long dull winter to deal with, but   as soon as January 1st comes around I start to check through all my tackle, restring my rods, and plan my first few trips out.  This
