Went ice fishing last weekend with the boys from work at Lake Simcoe and Lake couchiching. 1st day at Macphee bay caught 2 perch myself. 2nd Day at Couchiching caught 17 perch. great weekend! Had a blast.
Just picked up a new Abu Gracia Revo SX baitcaster reel attached to a medium Vendetta Rod. Over the moon! Here I come fish. still gonna try winter fishing to get used to the rod but come spring here comes the new Bass Assassin!
Might be coming into a bit of extra money and looking to buy a new fishing rod. I am looking at Bass Pro and my ideal choice would be a quantum graphite rod with a quantum smoke reel along with florocarbon berkely vanish line at about 10lbs test. I have spent nearly everyday since November trying to get out and do some fishing. I have only got 1 nibble in all this time. I have fished many parts of the south Humber river, the credit river, grenadier Pond, humber bay park east and and various sections off the lake ontario shore line. Am I missing something here? How have i not caught one fish! not even a little bluegill? am I doing
