i go ice fishing alot like most ice fisherman and i would like to tell you some tips about ice fishing.
 first of all when i go ice fishing i choose what gear i want to use. for lures i use a blue fox spoon that is perch coloured, has rattle glow in the dark, feather taild hook with a trailer hook. the rod i use is a st.croix legand ice ice fishing rod with a rapala r-type spinning reel. the line i use is berkley fire line ice. i also use live bait too. for clothing gear i wear a floatation suit and under armour thermal wear, fleece jacket, and polyestyer pants. when i go out for ice fishing i look for where the weed beds are. if i am on a new lake i would go ice fishing near ice fishing charters ice huts because they are usally at a great spot. for electronics i use a gps incase i am in a good spot i mark that spot as a waypoint for the future. i always bring a cell phone for emergancies and i always tell someone where i am going and how long ill be. i ice fish for wallleye, crappie, jumbo perch, and trout. i also use tip ups for ice fishing that has braided line as main line and a fluorocarbon leader. thanks for reading my blog and i hope this info will help you
