My ultimate type of fishing would be Saltwater Fishing with my cane pole. The looks and stares as I catch fish on it, are the greatest enjoyment for me when fishing. Even more exciting is when they say I wont catch anything lol. I pull up more fish then anyone when I am cane poling.
We went to Grafton Lake in NY. It started to rain, but we kept fishing. I spotted a huge BASS floating near the top, looking like it was trying to breath. I spent the next 20 minutes trying to hook the fish so we could bring it to shore. I finally got it, and it was the biggest fish I had ever caught in freshwater. I think it is still my all time record in fact. It was at least 3 feet long,
I like to fish in new areas when I travel. I love the looks and comments people make when I use my cane pole to catch fish. They sit there all day with their rod and reels, catch nothing. I have a fish every few moments. Salt water pier fishing is my greatest joy to show off doing it with a cane pole.
