Finally the owner of the shack I was using show up and even thou he was sorry I had to go, I believe he put me out of my misery. I ended up getting 7, yes 7 smelts, not a good day, as the wife informed me that's 7 smelts in 7 hours. But I was out and I tried and maybe there will be a good run on the next time.
