There are about 100 staff members at the Queen Charlotte Lodge. Below meet the main staff/characters you will get to know each week on The Lodge.

First came to the lodge as a guest in 2005 after earning the trip by winning a fishing derby near his hometown. He worked as a guide from 2006 thru 2009 and last year was promoted to Dock Supervisor and Head Guide. As a guide he was considered a star and would even video tape his guest's experience using a "Hatcam" which he would give to his guest at the end of their stay at QCL. Ryan and his wife Miranda have two young sons, Carter and Luke, who appear in episode 6, and look like mini-Ryans, complete with matching hairdos. Ryan is also featured in episodes 2 and 3 where he deals with guides who have trouble setting their alarm clocks.

John came on board in 1994 as a specialist fixing Johnson outboard motors. When the Lodge switched to Mercury he quickly became proficient at fixing those as well. He's always been the marine mechanic but gradually came into his second role as the freight boat operator through the years. He makes a regular trip to nearby Masset for supplies, fish delivery and staff outings and often has to deal with extremely dangerous conditions to make the trip. John is featured in episodes 4 and 9 where he must repair boats under tremendous pressure and in episode 5 where he must deal with 18-20 waves on his way to Masset with a load of fish and a couple of terrified lodge employees.

Montana is a woman of many talents. Her roles at QCL include Baker's Assistant, Server, and Bartender. Strangely enough she was named after NFL Hall of Fame quarterback, Joe Montana. Montana appears in a couple of early episodes as one of the featured combatants and organizers of Battlebots and as the baker who must make the perfect birthday cake for Jordan Clough, grandson of owner Paul Clough.

Mark's job title is Totem House Chef, which means he cooks for many of the lodge's VIP guests. Mark calls Toronto home and has worked at a number of high end restaurants in that city. During the season his fun personality is on display in episode one when he dresses up in cardboard for Battlebots and in episode eight when he makes sushi for all his fellow staff members and then enjoys his one allotted night out a week at the lodge's staff bar, T. and A.'s.

Rob is the Lodge's Sales Manager. Most of his hard work takes place during the off-season when he’s confirming return visits for long-time guests and trying to generate new business. During the summer months he spends a lot of time with his clients on the water. Rob’s one of the top fishermen at the lodge and, as the son of the Lodge's Managing Partner, Paul Clough, is involved in many of the company’s major decisions. Rob appears in episode six with his wife and two kids as well as episode ten where he enjoys a day on the water trying to generate future business with a couple of long-time guests.
Paul is the Lodge's Managing Partner. He made his fortune as long time President and CEO of the impark parking lot company. After leaving that company he purchased the Queen Charlotte Lodge in 2000. He leads the lodge's regular management meetings and focuses on coaching his managers and encouraging them to deal with situations themselves as we see in episode three during his interactions with Head Guide Ryan Ashton. Paul also appears in episode ten hosting a very important cocktail party for some VIP business associates.
