Mark Berg
I began fishing when I was around 6 years of age. My Dad wasn’t in to it at all although my Uncles and my Grandfather in Holland were professional fisherman for many years so I guess it’s in my blood. I grew up in Wollongong, NSW and spent many hours fishing lake Illawarra and the Port Kembla Jetty’s as a kid. I pretty much taught myself how to fish from the magazines with hours and hours of trial and error. Nothing beats time on the water when it comes to developing your fishing. When I’m not on the water I own and run berg Photography and berg Portraits in my hometown of Wollongong. It’s been very good to my family and I and it creates the flexibility to take off on fishing trips when required. At the end of the day I’m just a regular bloke that gets excited about Fishing. Whether it’s Whiting or Marlin I love it all and enjoy sharing my experiences with you.
