RECIPES OTHER SEAFOOD By: Raschell Rule Homemade Tartar Sauce Recipe If you like your tartar sauce spicy, just add hot sauce to this delicious recipe This tartar sauce recipe tastes fantastic with your traditional fish & chips, or nearly any fried or baked fish recipe. Yield: Approximately 1 cup Total time: 1 hour Ingredients: ¾ cup homemade mayonnaise 2 tablespoons sour cream 1 teaspoon prepared horseradish 2 teaspoons fresh lemon juice ¼ teaspoon kosher salt ⅛ teaspoon cayenne pepper Pinch white sugar (or to taste) 2 tablespoons grated sweet onion 1 tablespoon fresh dill (optional) 1 tablespoon homemade dill pickle relish Directions: 1. In a bowl, mix all ingredients together. 2. Cover bowl and chill tartar sauce for at least 1 hour before serving. 3. Serve homemade tartar sauce with your favorite fish recipe.
