
Captain Phil King, Tim Haynie and David Shipman will be fishing the Berkley World Catfish Classic to take place May 31st to June 3rd at Chiprana, Spain. Berkley plans on sending eight other teams from around the globe to compete in the Catfish Classic.
Fishing on the Ebro River in Spain, Team USA will be fishing against some of the best big cat fishermen in the world.
"I am excited to fish for some monster Wels catfish against a bunch of great teams," said King. "We plan on using special Berkley Catfish Pellet rods and Berkley Catfish braided line. both of which are available only in Europe for the time being. This is the 1st Catfish Classic and we are happy to represent the United States of America."
