One thing that has been helping me on fishing trips as of late is rigging my kayak with camera gear. That way,  I can review the footage later and figure out things I'm doing right or wrong or seeing something that I might not have seen while I was actually catching the fish....not to mention, having the opportunity to put together a cool fishing video. This is the Berkley Gulp Saltwater 3" Moulting Shrimp. I have worked this bait in both green murky water or brackish water. The best jig head to use is the D.O.A. C.A.L short shank color white or chartruse head. When using jig heads. (If I'm going shallow), I use a 1/4oz. jig head. If I'm going deep, I use a 3/8oz. jig head. The wind picked up during the week and the storms moved in. Running to the north to get around the storms produced some good results. As the wind shifted to the east the bite picked up.
