#The Xbox 360 game, The Strike, is an exceptionally well thought-out fishing game that is sure to please both professional and amateur anglers. While the game is not necessarily perfect, it is still what would be considered the very best fishing game that is on the market.

The controller that is supplied when you purchase the Xbox version feels surprisingly comfortable when holding it in your hands. So much so, that you would never want to play the same game without the use of that very controller. While this is an option if you do not want to spend the money on the pricier version that supplies the fishing rod, I strongly suggest you consider the upgrade.

The controller is in no way built cheaply and the sturdiness is appreciated after having tested out so many fishing with flimsy controllers that make it difficult to imitate the real movements needed to play the game like casting. The best thing about the rod is that the rotors shake inside, providing tension for when you cast your line or for when a fish bites. The handle of the reel will also move on its own like a fish pulling away at your line and heading away from your fishing boat.

#Another great feature that is available to use once you have initially familiarized yourself with the game is being able to use the lights that are available on the back of the rod. These lights indicate how much tension your fishing line is under. Therefore, if you really want to test out your skills at fishing, then you can get rid of the HUD display and solely rely upon the vibrations given off by the controller and the lights to catch your fish.

Overall, it was great how the developers made it clear that fishing was appreciated by them as an actual sport. They made it so it is not particularly easy to catch a fish, unlike some of the other fishing games out there. In order to truly experience this game, there is some skill that needs to be acquired to be legitimately successful at it, anglers will love it.
